QR codes for tradespeople and construction businesses
A signwritten vehicle stays on the road for years, a site board for months. With QR Suisse, published by Skyday Sàrl, the QR code on it can offer to call your number or to save your contact, or open your quote request form, and you change its destination without redoing the signwriting.
Practical situations
Vehicle signwriting. On the van door, a Phone QR code offers to call your number. Later, you can redirect it to the quote request form on your website: both belong to the Link family, and the signwriting does not change. The number of scans per day shows whether the signwriting is being used.
The site board. It leads to a page for neighbours and passers-by: duration of the work, the site manager's contact details and then, once the job is finished, photos of the completed project on your website.
Quotes and business cards. The printed quote points to your past projects or your appointment booking. The business card carries a Business card QR code that stays up to date even after a change of number (business card QR code).
Several vehicles, several teams. The Free plan covers 3 active QR codes and 1 user. With Pro, the number of QR codes is not limited: one per vehicle and per site, organised with tags. Office staff and team leaders can each have their own access, with the rights you give them.

Your Google reviews: a QR code you can track
Google itself provides, from your Business Profile, a free link and QR code to ask for reviews. If you only have one item, that QR code is enough. With QR Suisse, the QR code that leads to your profile counts its scans day by day, item by item (invoice, business card, vehicle), and you can change its destination without reprinting.
One rule to follow: Google's own rules prohibit offering an incentive, such as free or discounted products or services, in exchange for a review, for changing a review or for removing a negative review. Your QR code can invite customers to leave a review, not reward them for it. (Google's rules on reviews)

What QR Suisse does, and what it doesn't
Does
- offers to call your number (QR Phone), opens a text message already addressed (QR SMS) or offers to save your contact on the phone (QR Business card);
- redirects to your quote request form or any other page, editable at any time;
- provides the image as SVG for your signwriter or sign maker, and as PNG for screens;
- with Pro and Entreprise: unlimited QR codes and users, tags by vehicle or by site, 15 months of history and your own subdomain (for example qr.your-company.ch); QR codes printed with this subdomain only work with an active Pro or Entreprise subscription, with no grace period: read the help page before signwriting.
Doesn't
- tell you where the vehicle was or who scanned: for each QR code, QR Suisse keeps a total count and a number of scans per day; neither the device, nor the country, nor the IP address of the person scanning is stored in the database;
- create quotes or forms: the form stays in your own tool;
- turn a Business card QR code into a Phone or Web QR code after it has been created (see question 2);
- create anything other than black-on-white QR codes, with no colour and no logo.
