Practical situations

  1. A new number, a new job title. Six months after having 500 cards printed, your mobile number or your job title changes. You correct the business card in your account, and the cards already handed out give the right details from the next scan. Only contacts already saved on someone's phone keep the old version.

  2. Cards for a whole team. Each colleague has their own QR business card. The Free plan covers 3 cards and 1 user. With the Pro and Entreprise plans, the number of QR codes is not limited, and everyone can manage their own card, with the rights you give them. For the printer, you download up to 100 cards at once, in a ZIP file in SVG format.

  3. From your internal directory. When someone joins, your HR tool, your CRM or an automation tool that can call a REST API (for example Zapier or Make) creates their QR business card via the API, then retrieves its image as PNG or SVG. The API is included in the Pro and Entreprise plans.

  4. A stand at a trade fair. The QR code from your business card also appears on the stand's roll-up banner. The number of scans per day shows whether it was used during the fair.

  • update a contact already saved on someone's phone;
  • display an online profile page: the contact goes straight to the phone;
  • handle profile photos or NFC cards;
  • create anything other than black-on-white QR codes, with no colour and no logo.

What happens when you scan a business card QR code?
The phone receives a contact card (vCard) and offers to save it to the address book, with the name, company, job title, phone numbers, emails, addresses and website you have entered.
Can I change my details after the cards are printed?
Yes. You edit the business card in your QR Suisse account: the QR code image does not change, and every new scan gives the updated details. However, a contact already saved on a phone is not updated.
What information can I put on the business card?
First and last name (required), company, job title, up to 3 phone numbers (work, mobile or fax), 2 emails (work or personal), 2 addresses (street, additional details, postal code, city) and a website. If you enter a colleague's details, make sure you are entitled to publish them.
Does the person scanning need to install an app?
QR Suisse does not require any app: the person scans the QR code with their phone's QR code reader, which then offers to save the contact.
How do I create business cards for a whole team?
With the Pro or Entreprise plan, you invite your colleagues to the account: each of them creates or updates their own card, or you create them yourself. To create cards automatically from a directory or a CRM, the API lets you create Business card QR codes and download their image.
Which file should I give my printer?
The SVG, which can be enlarged without loss of quality. You download it from the QR code's page. With Pro and Entreprise, you can also download several cards at once, in a ZIP file.
Is it free?
The Free plan allows up to 3 active QR codes, with no credit card, and it is not a trial. Beyond this limit, or to work as a team, the Pro plan removes the limits.
