The plan you choose does not change where your data is hosted
Whether you are on the Free plan or the Pro plan, every QR code created on QR Suisse is hosted and processed in Switzerland, at Infomaniak (Geneva). We do not outsource this infrastructure to a provider based outside Switzerland. The Free plan is not a degraded version on this point: only the active QR code quota and the history window differ between the two plans.
Frequently asked questions about pricing
- What is the difference between the Free and Pro plans?
- The Free plan allows up to 3 active QR codes, 1 user and a statistics history of 7 days. The Pro plan removes these limits (unlimited QR codes and users) and keeps the history for 15 months.
- Can I change plan at any time?
- Yes. Switching to the Pro plan takes a few clicks from your subscription area, with no minimum commitment. If you cancel, Pro access stays active until the end of the period already paid for, with no pro-rata refund.
- Is my data hosted in Switzerland even on the Free plan?
- Yes. Hosting in Switzerland (Infomaniak infrastructure, Geneva) is identical on both plans — this is not an option reserved for the Pro plan.
- What happens if I switch back to the Free plan with more than 3 active QR codes?
- Your excess QR codes (beyond the first 3 created) display a temporary information page for 14 days instead of redirecting normally — enough time to resubscribe or archive the extra QR codes. After that period, only your first 3 active QR codes remain functional.
- Do the prices shown include VAT?
- No. Prices are shown excluding VAT: Skyday Sàrl, the publisher of QR Suisse, is not subject to VAT.
