Dynamic QR codes for independent insurance brokers and agencies — hosted in Switzerland
A QR code on a client file, an agency storefront or a contractual document gives access to information that must remain reliable and up to date throughout a client relationship. QR Suisse is designed for this context.
Real-world scenarios
Client file handed out on paper, pointing to a secure portal. During a meeting, you hand your client a printed summary file (offer comparison, coverage overview) with a QR code pointing to their secure online client area. If the offer changes or the partner company changes six months after signing, the paper file already in the client's hands keeps pointing to up-to-date information — with no new mailing or reprinting.
Storefront or agency sign, a medium that doesn't change location. The QR code displayed on your agency's storefront or sign stays in use for several years. You can update its destination — online appointment booking, current offer, contact form — without ever having to replace the sign or window lettering.
Printed contractual document that must reflect the version in force. An insurance policy or printed terms handed to a client point, via a QR code, to the current digital version of the document. In the event of an amendment or rate update, it's this version accessible via the QR code that is authoritative — without having to reprint or re-mail the document already in the client's possession.
Tracking a poster or mailing campaign, without exposing personal data. You distribute a flyer, run an ad in the local press or display material at a trade show booth with a QR code leading to a contact page or an offer. You can see the number of aggregated scans to assess the medium's effectiveness — without revealing a visitor's identity or the content of a client file.
What matters for your clients
A client who scans a QR code with you should never have to wonder where the data linked to it goes. QR Suisse hosts and processes this data in Switzerland (Infomaniak infrastructure). We only store what's necessary for a QR code to function — its destination and its scan statistics. The content of your client files, policies or contractual documents stays in your own business tools (CRM, partner companies' extranet): QR Suisse is a redirected entry point, not a storage location for contractual data.
The link that stays valid throughout the life of a contract
An insurance policy or a printed client file can stay in use for several years, amendments included. The QR code on it must keep working for as long as the document remains in the client's possession — independent of any contract renewal with a third-party provider whose terms you don't control.
Access
The free plan (3 active QR codes) is available immediately on a self-service basis — enough to test the scenarios above in your own agency before considering wider use.

- Does QR Suisse store my clients' data or their contracts?
- No. QR Suisse hosts the link and scan statistics for your QR code, not the content of your client files or contractual documents.
- Will a QR code printed on a contractual document keep working after an amendment or rate update?
- Yes, as long as your QR Suisse account stays active: you can change its destination at any time without reprinting or re-sending the document already handed to your client.
- Is QR Suisse limited to insurance intermediaries registered with FINMA?
- No. Registration in the FINMA register of untied insurance intermediaries (mandatory since 1 January 2024 for intermediaries not affiliated with an insurance company, Art. 41–42 ISA) is not a condition for accessing QR Suisse. The tool is aimed at any organisation in the insurance sector that manages documents and materials for its clients — independent brokers as well as agencies, whether or not affiliated with an insurance company. QR Suisse does not verify or guarantee the regulatory status of its users; compliance with the registration and practice obligations that apply to each professional remains their sole responsibility.
