QR Code Types — the right format for every use

A QR Suisse account doesn't limit you to a single content type: when creating a QR code, you choose the format that fits your use case, from seven available types. Whichever format you choose, it works the same way: you can change the destination at any time from your account, without ever needing to reprint the physical material the QR code is placed on.

1. QR Web redirects to the site, page or document of your choice; an optional assistant helps you add campaign parameters (UTM) to measure where your traffic comes from on a printed or multi-channel campaign.

2. QR Email opens a new message already addressed to your email, with optional pre-filled subject and body.

3. QR SMS opens a new text message already addressed to your number, with optional pre-filled text.

4. QR Phone starts a call directly to the number of your choice.

5. QR FTP opens your FTP server address, with no credentials embedded in the QR code.

6. QR Business Card adds a contact (name, company, typed phone numbers, emails, addresses) directly to the scanning person's phone contacts.

7. QR Calendar offers to add an appointment or event (title, times, location) directly to the scanning person's calendar; once accepted, the event then lives independently in their calendar.

You can combine several types within the same account depending on your needs — a waiting-room notice as QR Web, a printed business card as QR Business Card, an invitation as QR Calendar — each benefiting from the same scan statistics and the same ability to change the destination at any time.
