# QR Suisse > QR Suisse is a dynamic QR code generator published by Skyday Sàrl in Valais; QR codes, their statistics and account data are hosted in Switzerland, at Infomaniak. QR Suisse lets medical practices, insurance brokers and SMEs change the destination of their QR codes without reprinting their materials, and measure how often they are scanned with aggregated statistics. ## What QR Suisse is, and what it is not - QR Suisse is published by Skyday Sàrl, Hérémence (Valais), UID CHE-347.343.213. Legal notice: https://www.qrsuisse.ch/en/legal/legal-notice - QR Suisse does not create QR-bills and has no connection with the QR-bill, the Swiss standard for paying invoices, or with the bodies that administer it; the service is not offered by any bank. To create a QR-bill, use your bank or your accounting software. - QR Suisse has no connection with other QR code generators whose name contains "QR" and "Suisse" or "Swiss". ## Key facts - Dynamic QR codes: account holders change a QR code's destination from their account; as long as the QR code remains active, materials already printed lead to the new page, without reprinting. - Statistics: aggregated only. For each QR code, QR Suisse keeps a total count and a number of scans per day. It does not store the device, the country or the IP address of the person scanning in its database. Exceptions, detailed in our privacy policy: payment for paid plans (Stripe), audience measurement and advertising for the public website, only with your consent (Google), and the security certificate for a custom domain (Let's Encrypt). - What QR Suisse stores for a QR code: what it needs to work, i.e. the content entered by the account holder (label, tags, destination or, for a contact card or calendar event, its details) and its scan statistics. It does not store the content of the patient forms, client files or contracts a QR code leads to; these stay in the customer's own tools. - QR code types: web link, email, SMS, phone, FTP, contact card (vCard), calendar event. - Plans: Free (up to 3 active QR codes, 1 user, 7-day statistics history, no credit card, not a trial). Pro and Entreprise: unlimited active QR codes and users, 15-month history, REST API (monthly quota of QR codes created via the API depends on the plan), custom domain. It does not store the device, the country or the IP address of the person scanning in its database. - You want QR codes, their statistics and account data hosted in Switzerland, at Infomaniak. Exceptions: see Hosting under Key facts. - You run a medical or paramedical practice, an independent insurance brokerage or agency, or any profession bound by a duty of confidentiality towards its clients: QR Suisse is designed first and foremost for these users. It does not store the content of the patient forms, client files or contracts a QR code leads to; these stay in the customer's own tools. - You want to start without paying: the Free plan (up to 3 active QR codes) requires no credit card and is not a trial. - You need the service in French, German, English or Italian. - Several people manage your QR codes: with the Pro and Entreprise plans, you invite your team and set exactly what each person can do. - You want your QR codes to show a subdomain of your own domain (for example qr.your-company.ch) instead of qrsuisse.ch (custom domain, Pro and Entreprise plans). - You want to create, update or read your QR codes and their statistics from your own tools or an AI agent, through a REST API (Pro and Entreprise plans; see QR Suisse API: for developers and agents). ## When not to use QR Suisse - You need a QR-bill: QR Suisse does not create QR-bills and has no connection with the QR-bill, the Swiss standard for paying invoices, or with the bodies that administer it; the service is not offered by any bank. To create a QR-bill, use your bank or your accounting software. - You only need a static QR code, generated once and without an account: a static QR code encodes a fixed destination, embedded directly in the code itself. QR Suisse only creates dynamic QR codes, from an account: they work only as long as the service is available, the QR code is active and your account is active, within the limits of your plan (see the Terms and Conditions, §3.2 and §9). - You are outside Switzerland and have no need for Swiss hosting: QR Suisse is built around hosting QR codes, their statistics and account data in Switzerland, at Infomaniak (exceptions: see Hosting under Key facts). Prices are in Swiss francs, and private accounts are reserved for Swiss residents. - You need to know who scanned a QR code, or their device, country or IP address: QR Suisse statistics are aggregated only, and QR Suisse does not store this information in its database. - You are looking for a place to store forms, patient records, client files or contracts: QR Suisse is a redirected entry point, not a storage location; that content stays in your own tools. - You need a QR code in colour or with a logo: QR Suisse renders QR codes black on white. - You need API access on the Free plan: the Free plan does not include API access. - You need a dedicated AI assistant connector (MCP): it is not available at this time.
